From 1991 to 1992, he was selected for a Research Fellowship in Plastic and Microvascular Surgery at the Division of Plastic Surgery at Massachusetts General Hospital. Dr. Fiala returned to Canada, completed his Senior and Chief Resident years in General Surgery at Queen’s University, Ontario, and became Board Certified in General Surgery through the rigorous examination process of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.

From 1994 to 1996, Dr. Fiala trained in Plastic Surgery at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, Michigan. Recently, Dr. Fiala teamed with Dr. Pizarro, distinguished hair transplant surgeon in his Altamonte Springs – Orlando location. Dr. Pizarro has performed over 100,000 hair transplants and shares the same professional and caring practice philosophy.
